has it really been 28 days since i posted an adoption update?

we have been waiting to be filed in court and have heard nothing until last thursday.

we were asked to submit a document declaring we accept k's referral.

we believe this document is for court - either for it to be filed or for a judge who is hearing the case.

we certainly hope for the latter, but celebrate movement nonetheless.

we were hoping to hear word today of the purpose of this document we submitted.

calls were made but to no avail.

regardless if news makes it to us today, tomorrow or next week,

our hope is in God

as He continues to move no matter how invisible and incredibly difficult wait and communication have been.

isn't that what faith is?

Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen...By faith we understand that the universe was created by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things that are visible. (Hebrews 11:1-3 ESV)

so keep believing and trusting with us.

we know we are close to holding our little girl.

for it's court that gives us written orders which is custody!

then her passport is applied for and then we travel!

our agency will call daily until we hear news.

but regardless of earthly communication, it's the heavenly kind that can move mountains!
