If you are reading this, I know you have followed the Pilgreen Adoption very closely. It has been amazing to see how God has worked through this entire journey over the last two years. The Pilgreens are currently waiting for court orders, and then they will be able to apply for K’s passport and travel to bring her home!
It was almost 11 years ago that I first met Ben and Shauna and since that time, their family has been one of the greatest blessings in my life. Ben, Shauna and their boys go to great lengths to serve and care for others so incredibly well. As they prepare to welcome K into their family, we want to return that blessing.
On Sunday, November 9th,
we are hosting a party for the Pilgreens
to shower them with blessings and gifts
and I would love for YOU to join us!
If you live outside of the Bay Area, feel free to join us from afar through the mail.
Many people have asked what items would be most helpful. At K’s age it will be important for her to pick out a lot of her own clothes and accessories once she is home.
In light of that, gift cards will be most helpful. Ben and Shauna will also bring gifts to India to share with the orphanage and others who have been in K’s life.
Here is a list of stores where Ben, Shauna, and K will be shopping and items that they will be purchasing:
Target: Gifts for orphanage, travel supplies, clothing/household items for K
Amazon: Educational materials for K, including books in her language
Any girl's clothing store: Ben and Shauna will need to bring 7-10 outfits for K to India and once K is home, she will be able to pick out clothing that fits her style and preference.
Visa Gift Card: Ben and Shauna have some specific items that are needed for K and their travel and for those who have cared for K.
