Boot Camp is intense training in a short amount of time and Heroes certainly get lots of our boy's attention. Since we are not doing camps or VBS this summer, I signed them up (without their permission) for Hero Boot Camp 2010! Now since I am the author and creator of such a 'homemade and raw' camp, I determined it short and their value of heroes determined the subject!
To my surprise, they loved the idea of doing camp at home and having a structured time each morning while most of our summer has been sporadic and on-the-go. I chose to do this prior to school starting back as we have focused on being brave and courageous. I know for our family, I
take for granted that we have teachable moments almost 24/7 during the summer months. Ben and I have this rich time to be one of few voices pouring into Elijah especially. In just a week and a half he will make new friends and have new teachers that will speak into his life. In an effort to lay before them some foundational truths, I created Hero Boot Camp 2010 and I'm already planning on signing them up again next year!

Next post will be the curriculum and two videos!
